Colonel Thomas McCarthy, USAF, is the Commandant and Dean at the USAF School of Advanced Air and Space Studies and the former director of the U.S. Air Force Center for Strategy and Technology.  Col McCarthy holds a Ph.D. from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
